Assessing Work Efficiency of the Teachers in Primary School

Abstract


Assessing work efficiency tends to motivate the best employees only. Financial result of the hard work is stated by the headmaster in the form of a pay rise. The system recompenses those only who are successful but at the same time we do not stimulate the less successful teachers by reducing their monthly payment. In educational institutions it is the headmasters who assess the work efficiency of the teachers. They perform the human resource function and it is up to them whether they will get extra knowledge to be able to perform this duty. Basic criteria are set by the rule book which again is adopted by the headmasters.The thesis presents criteria which will serve the headmasters better as the previous ones in order to recompensate the teachers who try their best. The criteria will be prepared through a questionnaire and its analysis with the co-operation of a large number of teachers
